Between May 13 and October 13, 1917, three children in Portugal received apparitions of Our Lady, near Fatima. Mary asked the children to pray the rosary daily for world peace. On October 13, 1917, throngs of the faithful gathered in Fatima and reported seeing the sun dance in the sky. These miraculous events continue to bring hope to the faithful around the world.
