Kevin Michael Tortorelli, O.F.M. is a Franciscan of the Order of Friars Minor and a Roman Catholic priest. After his seminary studies at the Washington Theological Union he attended
St. Bonaventure University, Boston College and was a Visiting Scholar, St. Edmund’s College, Cambridge. He joined the faculty of Siena College, Loudonville, NY, and taught classics and theology.
While there he was chaplain to the college rugby club and for four years taught Carthusian monks at the Charterhouse of the Transfiguration, Arlington, VT. He was also a chaplain to the University of Georgia, Athens, GA. For many years he was a parochial vicar at St. Francis of Assisi Church, midtown Manhattan and Holy Name of Jesus Church, on Manhattan’s upper westside. Currently he resides at St. Anthony Friary, St. Petersburg, FL. The author has published about 20 articles as well as some translations from the Latin chiefly of church documents. Christology with Lonergan and Balthasar (Melrose Books, UK) was published in 2005. This is his second book.
